NUTLEY, NJ — Retail giant Ralph Lauren and a huge wave of its employees have officially arrived in Nutley.

On Wednesday, the Ralph Lauren Corporation held a ribbon cutting for its new corporate office at ON3 on the Nutley/Clifton border, the redeveloped former home of Hoffmann-La Roche. The event saw attendees that included Gov. Phil Murphy.

Ralph Lauren received a 10-year, $33.1 million tax break from the New Jersey Economic Development Authority to move to its new location. About 225 new jobs – and more than 1,000 employees in total – were predicted to come along for the ride.

The new office also houses the Ralph Lauren Corp. Learning Center, a hub for learning and development courses for New York and New Jersey employees.

The Nutley campus is the third Ralph Lauren corporate office in the tri-state area, joining 601 W. 26th Street and global corporate headquarters 650 Madison Avenue in New York City.

The company's brand names include Ralph Lauren, Ralph Lauren Collection, Ralph Lauren Purple Label, Polo Ralph Lauren, Double RL, Lauren Ralph Lauren, Polo Ralph Lauren Children, Chaps and Club Monaco.

Other tenants at the ON3 site in Nutley include the Hackensack-Meridian School of Medicine at Seton Hall University, Quest Diagnostics and biofabrication company Modern Meadow.
